We are comprised of Public Safety Professionals and Civilian players.
We are looking for players who know honor and sportsmanship comes above winning because...
Just who are we?
In California, The Office of the Sheriff is a county level law
enforcement agency. The 'Sheriff's Office' is delegated the tasks of
running the local jail, serving as court bailiffs, transporting
prisoners, police patrol of all unincorprated areas of the county, and
running any county-wide services.
In early 2000, several San Francisco Bay Area Deputy Sheriffs got
together and started playing Paintball. The very first time we played,
we were not impressed with the quality of people we played with. The
biggest complaint was the lack of sportsmanship, and very poor attitude
about the game. We knew that there were players out there who felt the
same as we did. We wanted players who felt that honor and sportsmanship
comes above winning.
Members are chosen for fair play and sportsmanship, not how good they play paintball. We can always work on your Paintball, we cannot work on your attitude.
So, what about the name?
Where did the name come from? The lack of sportsmanship on the
playing field was a problem. Deputies know what to do if you have
a problem:
